I served in the Royal Australian Air Force as a Flight Lieutenant and moved from there in 1991 to Victoria University lecturing in computer science and business finance.
In 1997, I commenced with the University of Melbourne, Faculty of Business and Economics, Department of Finance, lecturing and researching in Business Finance, Personal Finance, Real Estate Development and Real Estate Finance at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and completed a PhD on using artificial neural networks in financial market forecasting.
Concurrently, I developed a portfolio of residential properties through real estate development and purchase. I continue to manage my portfolio and look for other opportunities.
I still lecture in finance and real estate on a sessional basis as well as running our broking business.
Our broking business clients range from first time home buyers setting out on the property ladder to property investors who have been active for many years. As a Qualified Property Investment Adviser (QPIA), I can work with you to build a personalised, long-term property investment plan that not only meets your needs and goals today, but builds the right foundation to ensure you meet your future goals and aspirations too.
Within the community I am currently Chairman of the Board at Manor Court Werribee Aged Care Ltd, a Director of Werribee District Hospital Charitable Foundation and a member of the Rotary Club of Hoppers Crossing of which I am Treasurer.
As a nation, Australians have a passion for property, and in particular, a deep-seated desire to own their own homes. In the current economic climate it is becoming increasingly difficult to get on the property ladder.
It is therefore more important than ever that property purchasers seek out the best possible loan deal for their needs, whether for home or investment purposes.
We offer a free service to clients wishing to secure a home mortgage, mortgages for investment purposes, commercial mortgages and investment and business loans.
We can also facilitate leasing of vehicles, commercial equipment and arrange insurance.
Home owners with mortgages, investors both residential and commercial, and business people with loans should revisit their lending scenario on a regular basis with a view to refinancing where beneficial and possible.
A competent mortgage and finance broker can facilitate this at no cost by examining and comparing all the options before recommending the best choice, and processing the application for a client.
